This extra wide notebook stand is for users who demand a wider base for that extra level of safety, stability and styling.

With the new tilting base that requires no release buttons or locking tabs to hold its position, the Widescreen Notebook Stand is the elegant solution in a world of complicated contraptions that do not do what they say they will do.

With the new self-locking tilting base, you can adjust the incline on your notebook into dozens of positions. From as low as a few inches above the desk surface to completely vertical. (Important: Notebooks weighing 7 Lbs. or greater have a higher starting elevation of 4" above desktop opposed to lighter notebooks weighing 5 Lbs. and under with a starting elevation of 2" above desktop.)

To support the notebook and hold it firmly in place are two rubber coated, flip-down shelf supports that can hold up the heaviest of notebooks without a problem.

The desk surface is made of 1/8 inch thick heat-reducing Aluminum plate that will keep your notebook cool all by itself. This wide base desktop stand measures 15-3/8 inch long by 12 inches wide totaling 185 square inches of heat absorbing, notebook cooling Aluminum plate.

But with the addition of the dual fans to circulate cooling air under your notebook, it is certain your days of overheating notebooks are over. You may get to a point where the Aluminum plate is doing enough of a cooling job on your notebook that the fans aren't needed. If that's the case, simply switch them off. You can always switch them back on when needed.

The Widescreen Notebook Stand also has a 4-port 2.0 USB hub for connectivity that is conveniently located on one side of the Stand. The 4-port USB hub also has a separate power port for a 5 volt A/C adapter and an off/on switch for the fans. A/C adapter not included. A separate USB cable is provided to connect the notebook to the Notebook Stand.

The Widescreen Notebook Stand was designed for notebooks weighing 8 lbs. or less in the lower incline positions. It was not designed for the heavier gamer notebooks weighing 9 lbs. or better.
