This air cell allows the cool air from the fan to force the warm air radiating from the bottom of the notebook outward and away from the notebook. This constant exchange of warm air for cool air creates a convection cycle that keeps your notebook cool and working reliably. The super quiet cooling fan is powered by a USB cable that is provided with the unit.

To support the notebook while in the incline positions, two support pads securely clip onto the front of the Swiveling Notebook Stand to grip the notebook and prevent any possible slipping. The pads are foam rubber cushioned to prevent any possible scratching to the notebook. They have also been tested to support up to 70 Lbs. of dead weight without fail.
