Having a laptop desk can be great for working on the go, but what about when you need to use an external mouse? To solve that space problem and to keep you comfortable while working with your notebook on your lap, we offer the Laptop Desk MouzPad external mousing surface. This MouzPad snaps on quickly and easily to the Original Laptop Desk or the Laptop Desk 2.0,

This external mousing surface is great for those that get tired of using touch pads to navigate. Just snap on and start mousing!

The MouzPad is a detachable rigid plastic mousing surface that attaches to the Laptop Desk when working on your lap in a mobile position. The MouzPad will work with either version 1.0 or 2.0 of the Laptop Desk. It provides a full 6" by 9" textured mousing surface for use with any size and type of mouse - roller ball or optical. The MouzPad works for left or right-handed persons and adds 3" to the overall length of the Laptop Desk.Although the MouzPad snaps into place easily, it does not snap off easily when downward pressure is applied by a heavy-handed mouse user.

To remove the MouzPad from the Laptop Desk, simply lift up on its outer edge with about 2 lbs. of lift and it will snap away easily.The MouzPad is the same color and is made from the same rugged polycarbonate plastic as the Laptop Desk and weighs 3.7 ounces. It measures 9" x 6" x 1/4" deep although the actual wall thickness is less than 1/8 of an inch thick. It has six utility holes, three each at the two outer corners, to hold pens or other instruments that fit the openings. The MouzPad also has a series of notches, three on each side, for weaving a mouse cable through. This "cable capture" is helpful when the MouzPad is in an incline and prevents the mouse from falling when released.

ATTENTION WIRELESS OPTICAL MOUSE USERS:

A wireless optical mouse requires a surface that reflects the optical signal. The black background of the Laptop Desk 2.0 MouzPad does not reflect the signal because it is black. To correct this, simply add a piece of vinyl shelf paper from your local hardware store cut to size.
