As for typing ergonomics, the LapWing is adjustable into four different positions so you can choose the distance and angle that works best for your typing comfort. The LapWing’s 13” x 10” platform will accommodate any notebook computer. Simply center the notebook left-to-right on the platform and you’re ready to go. The space between the top panel and the bottom panel is 6-1/2" and 8". The 6-1/2" measurement is the length of the center support between the top shelf and the base component. The 8" measurement is the distance from the top of the desktop shelf down to the surface it sits on

For iPad and tablet aficionados, you’re not going to hold that tablet in your hand forever are you?. So when you’re sitting and need to set it down but still want to see what’s on the screen, just set it onto the LapWing so the screen is always viewable.

As a result of the extra lift or elevation that the LapWing provides above your lap, it raises the viewing screen closer to eye level. Depending on your individual height, craning your neck downward to see the screen may be a thing of the past.
