The Ergo Fan Riser (EFR) is a desk top stand with a built-in fan and
10 adjustable elevating positions up to a 35° incline. It can be set-up
anywhere there is a flat, table-top surface. It has a thin rubber cushion
along the front edge that connects with the front edge of the notebook
for gripping and to prevent scratching and abrasion. Four rubber pads
on the bottom of the base grip the desk surface and hold the unit firmly
in place. The adjustable elevating positions start at 2" and elevate
the viewing screen to a maximum of 3" in 1/8" increments. The
advantage of the lifting mechanism is that is actually separates the bottom
of the notebook from the fan and allows a greater area of cooling under
the notebook computer. The fan is powered by a USB connection to your
computer. There is a connection for external power but an AC adapter is
not included. AC adapter requirements: 5V 2.0A.
The EFR comes in two configurations. The USB hub model has a stronger
cooling fan and also has a USB 2.0 4-port hub.

single-fan unit; includes four USB ports; easily fits larger laptops.
Rated 7/10 points"

Productivity Portfolio - "The
fan is a simple design that does not require any settings, switches or
thermostat controls. This newer design is much more efficient at colling
your notebook" |
