HOW THE FUTURA LAPTOP DESK COOLS YOUR NOTEBOOK
The process works like this: the Futura Laptop Desk uses a set of rubber pads that “lift and separate” the notebook from the Futura. The 1/8” air space that is created by the rubber pads allows the heat that is radiating out from the bottom of the notebook to travel laterally and find the quickest way up - based on the physics that heat rises. As the heat is escaping, it is drawing cool air in through the vent slots designed into the Futura. This cycle repeats continually of (1) heat radiating from the bottom of the notebook, (2) the heat traveling laterally to escape, (3) as the heat escapes it sucks-up cool air through the slots keeping your notebook running cool.
