How to Alter your 2Loop to Work with the Smart Cover

A resourceful 2Loop owner, Arcadio F. Ortiz, Jr., recently shared with us how he altered his 2Loop so he could use it without removing his Apple Smart Cover. Below is his description and photos. Thanks Arcadio!

I have been continuously using the 2-loop/swivel stand iPad holder that I recently purchased online. I love it!. However, there were times when I wished I could use the original magnetic folding cover but found this frustrating as the holder's left edge would not allow direct contact and a good hold between the iPad and the magnetic bar.

After much cogitating and hesitation (I hate to waste a good product), I decided to improvise a solution. As you can see from the attached pictures, what I did was cut out two slots for the hinges at the top and the bottom. I could then establish full-length contact with the remaining intact edge holding the magnetic bar in place while the hinges are free to swivel - a bonus since the cover is now almost impossible to displace as contrasted with just bare magnetic attraction.
