“In response to our road warrior customers’ desire for a thinner, lighter Laptop Desk, we engineered the UltraLite for travelers using the less weighty, 5-pound-and-under Ultra Portables and Thin and Light notebooks, Tablet PCs and PDAs with external keyboards,” said Jose Calero, LapWorks’ president.
While adding several new improvements, the UltraLite retains the key design features of the award-winning, dual-purpose LTD v2.0 that take the hassles and hazards out of using laptops on a desk or while mobile.
As a lap tray, the UltraLite creates a spacious 22 x 11 inch workspace (1.5 inches longer than v2.0) that:
- Prevents "hot lap" and the tensed body posture otherwise necessary to balance a laptop.
